I never seem to have a seat left in my pants. All of my jeans seem to have a good deal more wear there than they ought to. Moreso even than the knees which usually go first. One of them is even missing a whole right side from cheek to knee. I think someone is stealing my clothes and going sledding on their ass down sandpaper slopes.

So, how's everyone doing with the pig fever outbreak? We got one likely case in Austin. I'm still sticking with the theory that I'm immortal. So, I'm not too worried.

I'm not discounting that it is real and dangerous. But it is aweful convenient for an administration too soft to form immediate legislation against more people coming to the US by either legal or illegal means. And thank you again mass media for forming paranoia on an epic scale. There will always be something for us to fear, but none more than people who feed on the fear of others.

I'm not really going to do anything too drastic at this point, but at the same time I feel like the world health organization should take drastic measures. I'm a better safe than sorry type of person. I'd be shutting down travel to and from areas with major infections until we can figure out just what we're dealing with.

Hmmmmm I just read something about my company's plan being that they assess how many of us can work from home and what are skills are in case we get sick. We just had to complete our "skills assessment" at the start of the month. Conspiracy? They totally knew this was coming!!1!

Meh, they totally knew they are getting ass raped by outsourcing before the "recession". If they have already been downsizing then they are looking to see if outsourcing is a viable option for the company.

The propaganda machine has been working well before the first 100 days. Foreplay is over people. Don't expect a kiss from someone looking simply to horse fuck you.

I would but the assessment is a joke. You try to figure out which job role pigeon hole you fit in and then you get a multiple choice form to fill out about how much skilliness of each skill they decided that job entails on a scale of 1 to 5. Everybody knows there's plenty more stuff we need to do our job that isn't on the form. I think it's really just designed to make you feel like a cog in a machine.

Ya kanow, for being all space agey and the like, The Jetsons 'verse sure relied upon simple machines way too much. Spacely Sprockets and Cogswell Cogs, really?

May first and I've missed some deadlines. Not too happy, but I don't see a lot of backup from the places the deadlines are coming from. Oh well. Gives me something to work on today.

I got more stuff in the mail that I need to push on other people. Good stuff too. Stuff I got at under 30% of it's value. Waiting for more stuff so I can sell some package deals.
Yeah, just paintball stuff. But it's addicting just the same.

So my nephew gave me some "mail" he forgot to give me before he went on vacation. In his headstart class they get to write letters or make pictures for people. They get little stamps and evelopes for their mail.

I realize that he favors mail for me because I tend to go by my moms to pick up mail. Kinda wierd, but I did get a little misty over it.

But only for a second, and only by myself. So it never happened, right?
