CAPTSTORM

While I do not often post messages, now that I have found this site I do feel I have something to say. When I was in the first grade and waiting for the bus the radio was playing and the announcer was all exited about an astronaut preparing to exit the capsule. This caught my attention and imagination but the bus came and I had to leave the radio behind. All the way in I wondered on which planet around which star the astronaut was preparing to first step foot upon. Later that evening I learned there was no planet it was simply the first space walk and the astronaut was simply orbiting the earth. While a great accomplishment I am sure all I could feel was disappointment and a realization I had been born too soon. My only solace as I grew up was science fiction and yet none of the movies or books quite captured what I always felt until I heard for the first time the Ballad of Serenity. Here at last was a series that captured how I felt especially the out of gas episode the way Mal looked on Serenity. That brought back all the feelings of that first grader. So all I can say is I salute you Joss for the best damn science fiction series in the ‘verse. Thank you.

keep flying

I shall salute also. Thank you Joss for a wonderful show, even if it was short-lived.

Nice story, BTW.

I've not made many posts either, but I'm SO excited about the upcoming movie that I've decided to make an effort to contribute more. So let me say "Welcome to FFF.net, the best gorram website in the 'verse." Hey, I think I'm picking up the lingo!
