Those Screen Caps - To the Left

You know those screen caps that randomly display to the left?

You kinda don't pay attention to them after a while.

But have you ever noticed that once in a while you will see a picture out of the corner of your eye and think "wait, what??" and go to look, but you've already clicked on a link and *poof* it's gone?

And you can't go back, cos it's randomly generated!

Is it just me, or has this happened to anyone else?

I've THOUGHT i've noticed;

a) scenes I don't recall at all

or

b) non-FF and non-Whedon images

For example, the other day out of the corner of my eye I thought I saw a realistic depiction of Cobra Commander's helmet and visor.

Yeah.....odd......

I guess subconciously I'm just still really hurtin' over the new movie's depiction of CC?

Anyway, having sat and refreshed my browser just for the pleasure of looking through said images, there are definitely none that aren't from Firefly. There are some views of the ship that might be kind of abstract, and may remind you of something else when they flit by. I think there may also be one or two from deleted scenes, though it all kind of runs together for me.

I like how every once in a while the screen cap will be related to the subject of a thread.

Simple stuff. Like a picture of Inara when it's about Inara's secret. Or that shipping container behind Mal, when talking about the Blue Sun in the Fruity Oaty Bar ad. Or Wash on the bridge when discussing Alpha.
(They're randomly generated, so it's going to happen sooner or later)
