RIPWASH

Hey guys and gals,

Just wondering (as has been posted several times in the past, I'm sure) where the best places are to buy Firefly shirts. I've seen a couple nice Browncoats shirts here and there, but there's one I can't seem to locate again. My "holy grail" would be the Wash Lives shirt over on Maizo.com, but they're on back order . . . grrrrrr. And I've already been in contact with someone on the site about a cunning Jayne hat.

Anyway . . . any listing you guys could give would be fantastic.

Thanks!

Zoe: "Get it running again."
Mal: "Yeah"
Zoe: "So not running now"
Mal: "Not so much"

There are loads (see links above) but I also know of one being set up as we speak. Give it a couple of months, and it'll be running like clockwork. Its my friend doing the designs, and she will take requests.

Anonymous1, as always, beat me to it with the list-making. Stylinonline has the biggest selection of licensed shirts. That would be shirts that show up on Universal's accounting radar lol. Let's 'em know we're still out here, buying their stuff..

The "firefly" stylinonline link just scratches the surface. Try this:

Thanks for all the help!

There is still one shirt I can't seem to find and I can't remember where I saw it. It's the one with Browncoats on it and over the top and on the bottom it says "May have been the losing side . . . Still not conviced it was the wrong one."

Where is that one?

Mal: You think she'll hold together?
Zoë: She's torn up plenty, but she'll fly true.
Mal: Could be bumpy.
Zoë: Always is

Is this what you had in mind? I've seen it on a dark brown shirt, but the one I own is light tan, and was purchased here:

I bought that shirt this past February at a Con in Baltimore. The shirt was made by ripple junction, and I remember that stylinonline USED to have it. I looked at their site and they don't have it now. I searched various sites.... sorry, no luck.

Creation has pulled ALL their Serenity merchandise, except for photos and autographs.
I have no idea why...

WOW!!! Love the Jason Palmer shirts!! That guy's got talent comin' outta his ying-yang.

But seriously . . .

Saw the link for the script where "Wash Lives!!!" and needless to say jumped right to that section. I mean really . . . aside from the fact that certain lines were said by different characters, it still had the same punch, the same feel. So tell me again, WHY was it necessary for Wash to die? Or even Book, for that matter?

**Sigh**

Why did Wash die? So Joss Whedon could resurrect Wash in 'Serenity 2'. Joss did that to Ripley in 'Alien: Resurrection' (1997). http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0118583/fullcredits#writers

The Joss Whedon script for 'Serenity 2' might steal good ideas from 'Indistinguishable From Magic', written by Kieyra the week Serenity premiered. In that story, River retroactively saves Wash. It begins: "River knows that Miranda wasn't the only secret they had. It was the big one, the one hammering its way out of their skulls and into hers. But there were others."
