He knows this. He knows full well that we've been laughing at him alll these years - and he's been laughing at us while we've been doing it. Why? Because HE is the one who gets to laugh all the way to the bank! The man's a genius. There's no other way to put it. He's a terrible actor, but I watch him. He's a terrible "singer", but I buy his albums. "Has-been" is pure gold, of the comedy variet on one level, but the songs are also good on their own. Mike

I would never try to convince her that FF is better, although she really liked the series. Now, Shattner going to a convention? I thought he was all about “ Hey Trekees, get a life!” What…….is he now thinking that Star Trek was his bread and butter? Paid his bills when he needed a paycheck? Oooooh, how time fly’s and actors become the people they try to distance themselves from ( check out Galaxy Quest) Z

I'd be embarrassed to tell you how long it's been since I attended a convention, so I'm not up on the various policies and practices. But Leonard Nimoy? Does he need to do that? I thought he had a few irons in the fire. Elvira (bless her little raven head), the surviving cast of The Munsters, etc. I can understand, but Nimoy? I mean, it's certainly his prerogative...but also kinda disillusioning. Hey, Jong - if The Shat is charging, be sure to try to talk him down. He'd respect that.
