OK, it's been a while but............

The Hangover - buy it, it's Hi-larious! This film is fun from beginning to end. A new classic.

Go see Inglorious Basterds - if only for the perfs of Brad Pitt as Aldo Raine and Christoph Waltz as Hans Landa - they should both get nominations - Best Actor and Supporting Actor.

See ya' soon

I saw Inglorious Bastards and really liked it except for one thing. I enjoyed both stories that were told enough that I wish I could have seen more of each. In fact I wish he'd made them as two seperate movies, like Grindhouse. Then we could have had the serious story and the Bastards story and still keep the stories coming together at then end, but you would need to see both to get the whole idea of what was going on.

Just my opinion.

I just saw "Basterds", it had alot of nice twists & turns, but it draged a little. Other then that, OSCARS FOR EVERYBODY! Even Pitt, and I don't like Pitt. I give the film 3 "Snowcaps", as you know "Snowcaps" is the best movie theater candy. I have to eat "Snowcaps" while watching a movie in the theater. Screw popcorn.

I get what you mean about 2 different stories - the one with the young girl Shoshana; and the one about the 'Basterds'.

I think he did treat each story as separate and then dovetailed them at the end. Perhaps it would have made for a better film overall for each had Tarantino split it into 2 movies. One as a comedic fable 'Basterds' and one as a serious piece/commentary on war, propaganda and hero worship.

Each had a nice twist that I didn't see coming - I thought that the young woman would revenge her family in classic style. In the 'Basterds' part - I did not foresee the twist, but once it happened I saw the ending coming a mile away. Still though I really enjoyed it. Not Pulp Fiction by any stretch, but enjoyable enough to go see in the theatre.

It's a toss-up between Milk Duds and Raisinettes for me.

Yeah, it did drag a bit in certain parts (more than usual for Tarantino) he took his time in the set-up.
I would have liked to see more of the Basterds story.

Didn't the Bear remind you of Jayne! Good stuff, sick sense of humor. 2 thumbs up!

Milk Duds rock! I also was expecting more Basterds mayhem, but since it took QT 10 years to wright this I'll cut him some slack. Now that you mention it, Bear was ALOT like Jayne
