So once enough copies are sold to cover the cost of production, every red cent thereafter will go to the charities. By all means, friends, buy as many as you like for your family, friends, converts, or whomever converted you.... I know I'll be buying at least half a dozen, even though I was in the movie, just for the sake of supporting the charities.

I think some viral marketing is called for. Maybe some nice looking printed post-its attached to Firefly and Serenity DVDs in stores? If I come up with something, I will forward it to the crew. It would be great to have trailer views in the 100,000's and have this DVD "sell" at a fevered pace, blowing away everyone's greatest expectations. Given the charitable nature of the movie, I wonder if any studios or theater chains would be willing to include the real trailer (when it is ready) in theater or DVD previews.
