Ditto.
Also, Skullcandy has proven to be the best sounding headphones / earbuds I have ever owned. And on top of that, they are the most reliable - everything else I ever had broke fairly easily. I can't see the point in spending a lot of cashy money on wiring that's going to break right away, no matter how comfy or nice they sound. ((shrug))

Ooh.. garnet and carnelian teardrops and smooth polished hemispheres... in copper wirework (not silver or gold, they've been done to death, besides blood has that cuperic tang sometimes)..

Several strands in an asymmetrical cascading collar....

With a dangling line of drips down one bosom..

(GET OUT OF MY HEAD FOUL LAPIDARIST!)

Oh, and my grandfather died this morning. He was in his early 90s, had been in a nursing home for half a decade, and hadn't recognized me in years, so it was not a tremendous shock or anything. It's kind of like exhaling when you hadn't realized you were holding your breath. He's well out of it now, and probably arguing with grandma already! (Irish... live or dead they cannot resist a good fight...)

Ffft. Garnet is always nice, but carnelian? If I could find them in a decent dark red/brown, but the ones available to me are far too pinkish, and would look awful with the deepness of the garnet. (Oooh, maybe I could find a good jasper stone...) Same with copper wirework - too pinkish, too bright. Then again, I'm not the awesomest when it comes to color combinations... XD Anyhoo, as I said, I already finished one last night. Have an idea for another one, with better wire than copper, but finding the right stone is going to be nigh impossible. ((plot, plot, scheme))

Hey all,

feeling a touch sore after footie last night, salving my aching achilles with memory of first 25 yard top corner off the laces goal being greeted by a chorus of, 'where did that come from?' and responding twenty mins later with a second from the same spot off the instep. Just occasionally the planets align, I find myself suitably in the moment and zen like skills appear in my feet. I won't be able to hit a barn next week mind!

Hope you guys are winning the battle with con crud, I think I might just get this assignment in now (wish I hadn't spent three days and two emails with my tutor discussing why my factorising of a Cubic function wasn't giving the simple results you'd expect in the context of the question, the answer, because I had miss-applied the method of finding eigenvalues and not because I was doing something stupid with the resulting algebra) so hopefully I get my life back just in time for birthday.

Must get on now...

Not to change the subject but I had the coolest idea for a real Browncoat Bar and Grill yesterday.

Lots of Brown in the decor, Flatscreens playing Firefly, Serenity and other Joss goodness.

On the kids Menu, Hotdogs would be called Good Dogs.

The header for the steaks on the menu would be prefaced with "If wishes were horses..."

The total menu would be an eclectic mix of Western steakhouse fare and Chinese food. Gotta have fresh bao and of course Wife Soup.

The bar would serve the best whiskey in the house, Osiris Saki and of course Mudders Milk.

Sorry, just hit me and I thought it was cool. Now all I need is lots of money to build it.

Truth. If I ever need a new set, I'll definitely check out this Skullcandy. I have some shiny red Sony buds, and so far they've served me well. And they were quite cost-effective.

2.5 hours of uploads, 17 hours decompressing.

(JK, I hope)

It *did* take almost 3 days to get the new laptop up and running because they don't put a flashwire (?? iz what Doctroid wuz cussin' about) in the new model so we had to go through 2 computers and upload it all over the wireless connection.
(My iPod was practically plug and play comparatively! I feels geek leet!)

So it looks like I'll probably be a pall bearer on Saturday. Little old men of 93 are not very heavy. The casket, however, probably weighs a friggin' ton. (Sigh.) Sensible shoes and a surgical truss coming up. (Do they make those in black?)

Yep, although the domestic flight home was delayed due to the collision detection system on the plane failing to initialize and they had to MacGuyver together a solution. I'd prefer it if I were still in the USA (and since I'm not rostered on back at work until Tuesday night, I could have delayed my trip home by 4 or 5 days).

oh, and MsA... you know how you were asking me about the Charlaine Harris books? Guess what I have a large pile of to work my way through? Mum brought home a collection of freebies from work (library supplier ftw), so I have plenty of reading material.

Just copy and paste the link, then type ".jpg" on the end of it before you hit enter. Should work.

Today shall be a day of video games. Yesterday I worked my ass off cleaning, and stressed 'bout moneys and bills, must unwind. And now to choose what shall be played... hmmmmm... I may wanna visit with my old pal, Pyramid Head, or maybe mass zombie slaughter, or maybe some fun secret agent stuff like sneakin' up on guys in the bathroom and snapping their necks while they pee... *sigh* So many choices. How does a girl decide?

So how is everyone this chilly Thursday morn?

*glomps Kel*

how is it possible for teachers to expect you to read half a book at a time, from multiple books? I mean, i'm not too bad at time management, but having to read the first two acts of Hamlet (which is LONG, btw), half of Women in Love (250 pages, and boring as fuck), half of Soul Rebels (not aaaaaaaaaas long, but still tedious since it's an ethnography sort of, and incredibly dry), a close reading, two poems, and a short story, all by next monday and tuesday? that, and i constantly have to study for ASL -- that I don't mind, but holy shit with the reading. it's that kind of insane workload that causes ppl to pull a lazlo hollifeld :P

edit: I'm sorry, the two poems are for today; the THREE "short" stories and the close reading are for tuesday @_@

barkeep, something to get me through this insaneness

chilly?? what is this chilly you speak of Roxie??
HUGS oh sweety yes you must unwind.... go chase some zombies
that always perks you up

Oh yes that would be nice

OK must dredge up energy for long drive and work...

hmmm so HK needs an allotment of Dew and Red Vines daily??
so as not to overload her

Well if Nico had just won the lottery like we told him to, none of this would have happened

*hugs MsA and passes on her energies*

You think you know--what's to come, what you are. You haven't even begun.

The cold front might be from me. Sorry. It was chilly here a few days ago, but now it's warm again. So hey, you may have that to look forward to!
