International Premiere Dates for Serenity

Hey all:

I've been watching Firefly since the television premiere, bought the DVDs as soon as they came out and have waited breathlessly for the movie. BUT...I'm going to England through a Study Abroad program. Yeah for me but I don't come home until late May, after the premiere of the movie. The question I have is will Serenity be premiering in England the same time as the US or later? I can't wait and I wish I was able to be with everyone at midnight of April 22 for the first showing. Thanks

I'm from the UK and hoping it comes out here at the same time too. Chris Buchanan the Mutant Enemy president has said that Universal are going to try and release it in as many places at the same time as possible so here's hoping.

I'm sure someone will post on here when there's any official word on the UK release date.

Heya, it's not ALL bad here in sunny old UK!! Really hoping for a premiere here too though- may have to save and buy a ticket to the US otherwise!!

thanks for replying. I'll probably end up waiting until I come home and pray that Serenity is still in theatres after a month. But with these great fans, I think that it could be in theatres the whole summer.
as to location: I'm going to Hull University in the Humber part of Yorkshire, or is Humber seperate from Yorkshire? Anyways. thanks!
