I was at ComicCon in NYC today where there were fewer Whedon-related folk than I would have liked. I saw Miracle Laurie (who is as graceful and beautiful offscreen as she is on, and surprisingly tall) and told her great job on the show. She smiled, thanked me, then smiled again and said she liked my t-shirt (a SERENITY t-shirt featuring Mal).

Not surprising that a DOLLHOUSE cast member can appreciate a good SERENTITY t-shirt (nor was she the only one at ComicCon to give it a thumbs up), but I still thought it was pretty cool.

That is cool GWEK

I would have asked her to say:

"Bouncy the rat?"

Not sure why but I thought her adorable when she said that line. Subsequently I think she was maybe the best character in Dollhouse.

I don't go to a lot of cons, so I don't know if this is normal or not, but it was kind of cool that there seemed to be a lot of mingling among the guests.

We toured the guest tables twice, and both times, for example, Erick Avari and Tony Amendola were not at their booths. Turns out they were both talking to other people. And when we walked past Erin Gray the first time, I thought "Hey, that girl taking her picture with Erin Gray looks like Miracle Laurie." Turns out it WAS Miracle Laurie!

See aren't you glad you wore that shirt:)
