Boys, boys. It's entirely my fault, but now I have images of Beavis and Butthead running through my brain. :D

I'm actually not one of those "come as you aren't" Halloween people. I watch too many women use Halloween as an excuse to unleash their inner wild child (or slut if you prefer). My theory is if you can't unleash her at other times, maybe you shouldn't be doing it at Halloween. ;)

If I was empress, I would declare everyone's home their own personal slut domain to get as sleazy as they want, freeing the rest of the world from having to view their overt attempts at being sexy which are usually just sad. Sexy is the inner confidence...not so much the outer coverings or lack thereof. ;)

Have I just lost empress possibility? ;)

Yeah but some decorations can really set the stage... and I think that some women need "permission" to go wild and feel like pretending makes it consequence free or at least that it's not a reflection of them

Do love the trip to junior high the thoughts of you, vegas, whips and tassels, and inner sluts sent the guys on....

You just wait for the horrendous 2 month long blizzard to render travel impossible! Peanut will just roll over and say "I think I'll just stay in here where it's warm". Then there will be a miraculous winter heatwave and Peanut will come out to play. You'll see.

Poor, poor kitty. I think he hates me. :D

He peed in his home-made carrier on the way to the vet. He was super cat once inside the room an only got ornery when being poked/cut with very sharp objects...or having iodine solution squirted into the offending pocket of grossness.

I decided to leave him there for a few days as flushing the OPG 3x daily by myself didn't sound like fun...even after they trimmed his nails (can they trim teeth, too? I'm pretty worried about teeth along with the foots.).

It was weird/sad to come home to no kitteh. Watching the last disc of Tru Calling (interesting show...but didn't so much like Eliza Dushku) without kitteh sleeping on my lap was strange. I slept magnificently, however, because I didn't have to arrange myself around him. But the morning was sad again with no one to greet me or follow me around the house.

This is what I fear when Kaylee's kidneys finally give up. Not having a kitty follow me everywhere will not be much fun.

You arrange yourself around your kitty? I just roll over and make Kaylee rearrange herself.

Are you watching first or second season of Tru Calling. I thought it started to get pretty good in the second season. Of course Fox canceled it before the episodes even started to air.

Just watched the last disc of S2. I thought the premise got really interesting with the intro of the "Reaper". There were so many different twists to explore. I'm bummed that I don't get to see how many of the threads pan out (Jack, Mr. Davies, Jenson/fate, etc).

However, I was sooooo tired of ED by S2. She was pretty one note and annoying. I actually think she's shown so much more depth and ability in Dollhouse (although I know you don't like the show). I think if I had watched Tru Calling before Dollhouse I'd would have a different opinion of DH.

I didn't mind Tru Calling either. I haven't seen both seasons all the way through (I basically catch the re-runs on Sci Fi [I refuse to call it SyFy]) but I've caught enough of the series to like it. Kinda wish it hadn't been cancelled :\ especially when Davis starts alluding to her mother's mystery (though perhaps that's revealed in the eps I haven't seen)

Since we're on the subject, a Ponder: if Eliza Dushku didn't work for you in the role of Tru Davies, who do you think would have done better? Who would you have liked to see?

You should have had my crazy orthodontist. I had braces as a kid and went in for all sorts of tightening and fitting and whatever appointments. All I knew is when they said "come in" I had to go. One day he's using this thing that's wizzing away and making this awful smell and I have no clue what he's doing. He gets done and suddenly I feel my front two teeth are filed down to be straight across and have these perfect angles going back. wtf you'd think he'd ask if I wanted my teeth filed. It's not like I had big bucked teeth before or anything. If he asked I probably would have said no. Jerk.

LOL gorram we have the same problem.. only it's our dogs attempting to adopt the neighbor's cat. They've smuggled him into the house through the dog door several times and it's gotten so bad the neighbor has had to lock the cat up at night 'cause they can't find him and don't want to wake us up to get him back.... so last night , not able to find their beloved adoptee one of our dogs tried to bring an alley cat home and got smacked in the nose big time... poor thing has been snuffly all night and morning because of it( the dog not the cat.. the cat sauntered away with distain)

Wow I'm surprised your mom didn't yell at the orthodontist big time

you know, gorramgroupie, allergies get better with time and exposure. ;)

I'm actually a little allergic to Oz. I do my best to never rub my eyes after touching him and even though I like to pick him up and give him snuggly kisses on his neck (is that TMI?)...I don't do it often because it irritates my eyes. I also wake up every morning all stuffy and gross because he sleeps on the bed. Let's just say that the last two nights that he's been gone I've woken up clear and able to breathe.

Tru Calling: Um, I could see a darker haired Kristen Bell pulling off Tru. I think Ali Larter could've done a good job. Thora Birch might be interesting. And while I have seen her act...maybe Evangeline Lilly? she's got the right look, if you ask me. And not to get too fan girl...Summer Glau if she upped the gritty side.

Zeek: Rachel McAdams is too beautiful. That girl has got to be one of the prettiest out there. And while I know she can pull off bitch, I'm not sure I can see her as angry, tough bitch. Well, maybe Tru wasn't a bitch...but she was tough and more than bit angry.

FLT: they get into the mother stuff A LOT more and it's very intriguing. Part of why I'm disappointed it ended as it did...they didn't even get a chance to wrap anything up.
