Call me cynical and suspicious too, 'cause this site doesn't look "official"--or professional--to me.
Let's start with that URL: "browncoats.serenitymovie.com"?
And those fuzzy graphics? Puh-leeze!
Look at the Fox site, then look at this supposedly "official" site.
Big money would produce a better website than that.
Plus, the actual official site would be up and it would be linked from the studio site simultaneously.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm not signing up for anything at this site.

I finally got registed (after trying 25 names-its amazing folks wanted to be ME) but -slow site, never gonna get enough points to matter--plus I could never keep up with all the messages

so I did check off email me Serenity info

Hate to be all suspicious and such, but I get spoof e-mail from eBay with all of the proper logos and stuff in it.
Unfortunately you just can't be too careful online these days. Between the gorram government wanting access to your e-mail for "national security" reasons (HA!), and people putting up phoney sites just to get your personal info to sell to spammers, ya just don't know.

We're so excited about all the activity here on the boards! You've managed to get these boards rolling at a record setting pace-seriously! As I am sure you know, things are chugging at a real slow pace and we want to fix this ASAP.
