Nothing official, but this is probably Mr. Universe. David Krumholtz is being credited for a role in Serenity on the HSX website. ( http://movies.hsx.com/servlet/SecurityDetail?symbol=FRFLY)

Apparantly, someone noticed this on June 19, but I haven't seen it mentioned here at FFF.

"Krumholtz Joins 'Serenity'?

June 19, 2004 — 'Anonymous' points us in the direction of The Hollywood Stock Exchange, which lists actor David Krumholtz (10 Things I Hate About You, The Santa Clause) as part of the cast of 'Serenity'. While this information is not confirmed anywhere else, the one major role still not yet filled is that of 'Mr. Universe', a caffinated young male information junkie who lives alone on a distant moon, and Krumholtz fits the bill perfectly."

He'd be great for the part of course. I'm just a little worried thet there are no established film actors cast in our BDM. In a perfect world audiences would go to see a movie simply becuase it's good and has good reviews which i'm sure Serenity will. Unfortunately lots of people see movies depending on whos acting in them. I want audiences to see Serenity and if it takes an established actor in the Movie to make them see it then that would be great. I was hoping Lawrence Fishburne would sign up. Jewel spoke at a convention in the UK that'd he'd be perfect for a part. With him being married to Gina Torres you'd think the chances were high especially when he'd star in crap films like Biker Boyz post Matrix fame. We'll have to wait and see.

Yeah, Lawrence Fishburne as the Abbott of Southdown Abbey (was it Southdown? It was South-something), with hair to rival Book's....

OMG, I was his stand-in many years ago on an episode of a tv show he did with Tom Selleck!! I can't remember the name of the show, and I'm too tired to look it up at the moment. I think he's a pretty good actor, and will make a nice addition to the cast.
