future of firefly?

so I only heard about firefly post-mortum... and catching a few episodes, it's pretty good. It's got this nice unique sci-fi feel to it :)

anyways, I was wondering, what of the future of the series? I read somewhere that there might be a movie, or another season filmed.

THEREALME

As we speak (type?) the movie "Serenity" is in production. The creator and all nine major characters are returning. It is scheduled to be shown in April of 2005 (22nd?), and if it does well enough, might spawn more movies. Return to TV is unlikely, at least in the near future.
