My personal favorite was when a regional news service, NWCN, showed a video of "a bright blue object traveling at a high speed across the skies."

The time bar showed 6:29, the same time I was out watching the ISS passing overhead. They just reported it without even looking at the cause.

So now the nuts are going, well, nuts over this failed rocket test. Lovely. Nothing beats ignorance like an audience.

Aahhhhhhh. Laser beams. In my dreams.
