Hullo!

Obviously my return to this website, plus spending a couple of hours yesterday writing fan-fic triggered this, but last night I had a Firefly dream.

I was in this back water small Firefly-esque town in the foothills of a mountain range. There was a lake nearby and apart from the odd bit of future tech and a lot of browncoats it was sort of Treasure of Sierra Madre territory. I knew that I was just about 18 (in this accursed reality, I am 24) and rather wet behind the ears. Mal approaches me in a saloon bar and asks me if I'll help him set an ambush for train robbers. I'm excited and I agree. We get onto silver tin train like a smaller, airier version of the one off 'Train Job', with big windows and wooden seats. Mal's team get onboard, none of whom are from the Firefly crew - all unknown faces. We start the ascent up into the hills at a slow speed. When we get to the spot, Mal hands me a gun and tells me to stay put, that him and his gang will take out the train robbers and he'll send any people surrendering through the door to me, and that I'm to make sure that they sit down in the rear car and don't move.

So there's shooting outside and I'm stood there waiting. Suddenly Mal shoves a couple through the door. I try to look threatening and make them sit down in the rear car. A bit more shooting and he sends in another. I have to shoot above his head to make him sit down. I'm getting jumpy. Another one is sent in and he reaches into his pocket for something. I shoot him, and he falls to the floor dead. His hand falls out of his jacket and I see a pack of cigarettes in it. I burst into tears and sit down. Eli Wallach comforts me and in front of a stony faced Mal I tell him that I'm not ready for a gun. He asks me why, and I tell him that I'm not wise enough for one yet. He tells me that wisdom will come with years, and him and Eli look at each other and nod wisely, and sort of absolve me of any blame. I feel a bit wretched, but in an oddly good way of emotional release. The train heads back to the town.

Once there, we get a big celebration by the townspeople as a reward. One which eventually turns into a musical involving zoo animals dancing around the lake. At this point the dream becomes clearly too silly and I end up in a car park outside a supermarket watching fictional useless Norwich radio DJ Alan Partridge (Aha!) with his son attempting to return some goods to the supermarket, on his son's birthday. He ends up throwing some sweets at the checkout girl and gets banned from the chain of Tesco supermarkets. He's wearing his blazer and everything.

Almost certainly that last bit of dream meant nothing to an American audience.

Anyway, I'm sure this has been asked before but... anybody else get many Firefly dreams? Anyway, time to get into my jim-jams and stare at a photo of Kaylee in real hard concentration in preparation. I'll be in my bunk... etc.

Haha! I got that beat...

I dreamt I was making love to Kaylee last night (actually this morning after waking up before 5...) and it was obvious that we were in a loving and committed relationship...

With lots and lots of sex.

Made me kinda pissed when I woke up and had to go back to my real life.

Early: You ever been raped, Kaylee?
Kaylee: You know, it's funny you should mention that... ever heard of the Fox network?
