That sounds like an interesting color, but you're right, it's hard to picture unless you've actually seen it in person. I *would* assume it's like a peach color, but I think that falls more into the category of orange O_o (I'm with you and MsA, can't stand pink)

Yay for almost done projects!

*hugs MsA* I'm sorry you're stuck without caffeine :\

*magics up something hot to drink* why is my throat being all funky?! it's too warm out for this! :P

Eevening all,

good if busy day at work, ironing done, about to settle into some maths, roll on work and bed.

Don't worry SR, I'll protect you from the evil maths, it's not like you're going to be modelling with non-linear differentail equations!

Saw a great t-shirt today from Amanda Palmer's twitter feed, sure it's old hat but in my mind can't go wrong with a, '... and then Buffy staked Edward. The End.' shirt.

Must get on some work, not sure what my soundtrack is yet... I'll have a play but must get on!

EDIT: Just seen everyone else's posts, bad internet!

I can't see the colour but then I'm male!

Good luck with the down payment MsA although we can't seem to get anything without around 10% down over here at the mo.

I have new earing, cone for my labret stud, looks cool to me and other half hasn't noticed yet, which is good because she doesn't like earings on men, managed to sneak mine past her for months without trying. Her and my sis were chatting one day and she calmly anounces her dislike, and sis responds with, 'What about Gee's?' First she knew

I ought to take pictures, waiting on new necklace too, jewlery buying girl that I am, been without for months since snapped last chain, bad gee!

Speaking of breaking things, trashed my basketball trainers on Sat, snapped a great section off the sole and split straight across, meant to facebook it but nevet quite got round to it...

Really had better get on now!

GLEE gets a third season?! Before they've filmed the second season?

How about if we promise choreographed battle scenes in purple and brown to old popular and show tunes?

Simon: "I can't get no (satisfaction)"
Kaylee: "Girls just wanna have fun"
Mal: "Behind blue eyes"
Jayne: "TNT"
Inara: "Love for sale"
Book: "Don't get around much anymore"
Wash: "Rocket man"
Zoe: "These boots (are made for walkin')"
River: "Somewhere"

(Okay it's off the top of my head on the spur of the moment, and rattled off in under five minutes... it could use some tweaking..)

Think of the duets! The full chorus production numbers! The pyro-friggin'-technics! The nekkid people talkin' about sex! The gorram montages!

If someone could pop this inquiry along to the 76th..

I know someone in the SCA who went to a Steampunk World Fair somewhere in PA ( I think..) recently. She posted pix.

There was a woman wearing an airship above her head (name started with an A?) who looked very familiar. I think it's someone in the 76th, but I'm totally drawing a blank on names. Long dark hair and glasses.

Say "Hi, I see you!" for me if she 'fesses up.

Hi there! Shiny pic, Dan!!

Is anyone in here going to D*C... I don't see any threads started on that topic, & thought I'd put it out there & see whether we can get a real life bar & grill meet up somewhere!??

Otherwise a room party could work well!

Either a bar or room works too. I love room parties at D*C, they are more memorable than most panels there.

Frelancertex... The Dragon candle holder is a background prop used on the series. It can be seen in quite a few shots of Inara's shuttle. I think it was just above her Buddha.

HUGS Rosie ah the joy of school.. rots your brain from the inside out ( well what's left of it after childrearing)

The crazy hot scale is from a tv show called how I met your mother. The sleazy character ( played by Neal Patrick Harris) is explaining that a girl has to be exponetially hotter than she is crazy or she's not worth dating. They all claim another character's date ( played by our beloved Morena) is crazier than she is hot ( turns out she's actually telling the truth about a bizzare series of events)

Something's either mating or being killed in my back yard right now. It's dark and I don't want to interrupt. It could be two large groundhogs battling to the death and that would be fine with me.

Or foxes making more foxes.

It's more like a small thing squeak/barking and it doesn't really sound happy.

So long as nothing's scaring a skunk I'm good.

(Hops behind the bar and opens a cask of her very own Sochegin Mead to share. SourCherryGinger. it's a lovely pinkish hue and has a touch of bubbles to it. It's over a year old now.)

I'll just wander off to the napping loft to avoid hitting the books again tonight.
