SpoilerTV is currently in the early phases of a "Best Show Ever" March Madness-style contest to determine (as one would expect) the Best Show Ever. Since SpoilerTV is closely affiliated with the best Lost blog on the 'Net, it stands to reason that Lost is going to do very well in this contest. However, Firefly is up against 24 in the first round, and it's going to take a strong showing of Browncoats to defeat it.

This link has the instructions for how to participate. You can actually win a prize (probably an amazon voucher that you can use to buy a DVD box set of some sort) if you fill out a bracket and win!

It's not what you want to win it's what you think will win. I think it's a toss up between Lost and Seinfeld and they are in the same division of the bracket. I think Lost is polarizing enough that it may not win. That's my reasoning.

Also Seinfeld is awesome. No sitcom comes close to touching Seinfeld.

Just to clarify a few things, we can't vote until the twentieth. Right now we're just creating the nerdiest prediction brackets ever. Second, the spoiler tv people have predicted Firefly to lose in the first round to 24 purely because 24 has more seasons.

I think they really laid a potential mind field for Firefly. In my bracket it had to compete with potential fandom splitting voter Buffy then fellow cult fav Arrested Development.

However, I'd like to remind everyone that this site used to have a thread devoted to voting for Firefly in online competitions such as these. That we dominated the http://www.richlabonte.net/tvvote/ even though we were late to the party and the Xena folks had a couple hundred thousand votes over us. We can do this 'coats. Rally up and put our BDH on top.
