Biology final grade: A-
Better than I expected!

Chemistry final grade: not posted yet, but it's around a 56 or something.
Totally. Bombed. The Final.
Oh well, I'll just take the course again at a more sedate pace.
Unfortunately it's going to drag my 3.664 GPA waaaayyyy the fuck down. (Average of two grades makes for some dramatic swings...)

On to plant experiments and fetal pigs!

..aaaand it's Stinkingrose going for a personal best in number of consecutive posts spread out over days!

Got a B in chemistry. This makes no sense. Seriously.
Doctroid opined that I could always call her and beg her to lower my grade. (Then dent from the frying pan should come out of his forehead eventually.)

This means I'm only one semester behind where I wanted to be instead of two. (Silly courses that need to be taken in a specific order!)

Skyped with Magdalena last night. Yay! It was nearly midnight in London. She totally loves her job, which is a beautiful thing.

We're supposed to get a cold front through today. This means thunderstorms as well.

Melty cheese... blech.

I dunno what I'm having for lunch yet, but we're probably going to go eat out.

A water pipe burst here about 9am yesterday, about noon tomorrow is the expected repair time. So till then, we have no water. Does anyone have suggestions on how to flush a toilet without water?, cause I foresee problems.

Heh, the "if it's yellow let it mellow... " motto has gotten some good mileage. I didn't think of the 4L sized bottles though, we shall have to check that out.

Though that litter box idea might not be so bad, just fill the bath with ultra absorbent gravel... no, no.

Sadly it was a pretty bad screw up during roadworks that cut the water off. If I'm not mistaken most of the buildings for about two blocks are out, otherwise the starbucks and hotel across the road would get frequent visits.

I hope you did good on the exam. I usually feel terrible about exams and do well, so if I feel good it's a safe bet I did really well. Maybe it'll work out similar for you.

As for where I was... I was at a zoo. It was good. Ain't been to a zoo for more than 10 years then I'm in two different ones in two weeks.
