My friend and I actually started filming an episode that takes place after episode 14 yet, before the movie. It stars the original cast of characters, (save a few) and keeps true to the props and costumes. It should be done fairly soon so I'll post a link to the finished product soon! For now, here are some production photos!

Looks awesome guys. I know how hard that can be to pull off.

Two quick suggestions. A snappy title would be very useful, just so people can do a search for it. The other is that as a Facebook Group that people join, you can't post updates that show up on our news feed. It might be more effective to have a page that people can "like," then you can keep us up to date better on the progress.

And I'm not sure how far you are with filming, or where you're even located, but if you need help with anything, just ask.

I would totally disregard the movie in making episodes. If Firefly hadn't been canceled the story would be worlds different than what happened in the Serenity. So I would just treat the movie as non-cannon to the main Firefly story. Don't worry about your episodes linking to the story of Serenity.

This is true. Since we couldn't find actors to play certain characters, we tried to use both the movie and the show as a basis for their whereabouts during our episode. It seemed easiest to use an excuse from an existing episode/movie at the time.
