My Venture Bros voice work started in a studio in Hollywood, and ended with hooking Chris McCulloch to a shock therapy device.

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE Venture Brothers. The Dialogue just kills me...most of the premises are lame if you look too hard but the dialogue is always sharp. I find the fact that the characters are all satirical takes on stereotypes quite amusing. I also love the 70's retro throw back feel of the show. what can I say it titillates me on a number of levels, and It's one of the few things I watch that will induce jaw aching laughter.

Here's a quote from the last episode that aired last year
Henchman 21 expressing his elation regarding the opportunity to fight Brock Samson: " This is like Christmas my first bmx bike and meeting the cast of Firefly all in one."

Meh. Even w/ the random Firefly shout out, I'm still not impressed. Which is no real big deal. I like Futurama, Simpsons and The Family Guy, but have no interest what so ever in American Dad.

Just a matter of tastes, I suppose.

Sweet. Venture Bros. is the funniest show on TV. Adding Nathan just sweetens the deal.

"I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him."

fair nuff everyone's different. E.g. I no longer enjoy Family Guy but I do like American Dad. Alot of my friends like Southpark and I don't. I know very few people that like Venture Bros or Robot Chicken.

titillating: retro word to describe a retro inspired show. But yeah I do use it a bit in my everyday vernacular...I try to use every word I know whenever possible

luckily I'm at university with friends who like me are doing Speech Pathology so it's not too bad. But when I'm at most other places I have to dumb down so I hear ya. I do use big words around the kids at work and they learn em and how to apply em fast...which amuses me because they bamboozle the staff. I'm also tickled when I'm shopping etc in the small town I live in and said kids are out and about with their parents and using language and terminology they obviously learned from me.
My niece is 4 and has always been spoken to properly so she has an excellent grasp of language e.g. a couple of months ago:
Me "how is school?"
Her "Fundamenatlly I guess it's ok"
Me "Fundamentally? you know that word?
Her "W-ell I wouldn't use a word if I didn't understand what it meant would I?
Me: "So What does it mean then?"
Her : (frustrated and peevishly) "you know, the basics, at the core of it...why are you even asking me?"
ME: (laughing uncontrollably at her ire) So what do you like about school?
Her " I like colouring in with pens"
Me "Pens?"
Her" In Australia you call them markers or textas in London They're pens...why are you laughing I didn't say anything funny".
She kills me she's so funny
