There's just something really...engaging...about a pretty person dying tragically.

I would much rather have Inara die, and Mal realize nothing, and learn nothing from the experience. He could retreat into deeper bitterness and nihilism, and shoot hella people.

Or, in the alternative, they could smooch a lot without dying.

Either is cool.

It's super boring in space when you don't have Reavers on your tail and nothing has blown up. Seriously, what else would they do but write hilarious and/or kinky stories about each other?

Also, Jewel's thoughts on future Firefly are both hilarious and insightful. I too imagine Saffron with Jayne in the future, Jayne's even more gullible than Mal. It would be her most favourite backstab relationship ever, oh, and their baby, which Jayne is somehow carrying? COMPLETE SURPRISE. Saffron is just that good.

I'd love to see River with her own ship. I'd also love to see Zoe with her own ship. Maybe they can co-captain.

Also, beer and naked women, and an ecclectic collection of whores that the Gary Stu author avatar main character has accumulated via rescue or them throwing themselves to their knees at his feet. But only if you turn the page sideways and squint at the mispelling.

i ojbect to the use of the term "gary stu" to describe a male raging suethor, when there is the perfectly serviceable "mary sue", which also has the added impact of making the suethor all girly.

also, jayne writes more like Mitch Album, and whoever the blackgaurd is who inflicted The Shack on the world.

The characters sit around telling stories about what they want to do with a crap ton of money they've stumbled over. :) Things are implied.

Although the one about Mal is from Take The Sky.

Kaylee ships herself and Simon a lot (obviously), and she also clearly ships Mal and Inara, and if we allow Jewel Staite here to speak for Kaylee, and infer that Kaylee also goes for Jayne/Saffron and mpreg, especially considering what Saffron DID to them and how most people wouldn't be immediately trying to pair Saffron off, it's pretty safe to claim Kaylee ships everyone x everyone. :)

Wash does crack fic every time he plays with his dinosaurs.
