Did you expect a Universal Studios quality movie, or did someone explain to you that this was a Fan Film (no sarcasm intended)?

Calm your thrusters. My final review isn't in yet. I've posted what I've thought of it so far, but to be fair, I wasn't feeling 100% as I watched, and that may have contributed to my abbreviated viewing.

No thrusters engaged, I was just curious what you didn't like about it.

I think its fair to have different opinions about it. My only gripe with fan films is the general hype. I've had friends send me links to fan films covering everything from Batman to Terminator. They always go on and on about how great a certain fan film is. I get all excited and get let down. I really want to like Redemption. I want it to be good. I think the contrary opinions will help keep me on an even level when I go to watch it for the first time.

Got my copies yesterday. Was extremely excited. Sat down to watch it, and my wife promptly sat our son down in my lap and left to go to an appointment.

Soooo... My son and I sat there slack-jawed and watched the whole durn thing. And I liked it! Maddox sat quietly through most it, so I have to assume his silence was an affirmation that he thought it was cool too.

I now have two favorite fan films: "Browncoat:Redemption" & "To Know A Jedi".
