Hmm... ground state unhealthy, or not as healthy as usual?
(Health being a relative term, I am not in Olympic athlete condition but I'm not a total couch potato with multiple health problems either.)

How about if you feel sick: hands up, if you don't then keep them down?

Unless feeling left out of the group would make you emotionally unwell. In which case.. problem solved!

Oh, just watched The Men Who Stare At Goats. I laughed.

Ground state unhealthy, there's nothing wrong in particular other than having a terrible diet, poor sleeping habits and doing no exercise at all. I'm not as fit and healthy as I once was is all.

I am saddened to hear about all the sickness in my peoples recently though. You guys need to stop that.

Eat a balanced diet and go for a walk! 0.o
(That was the official nurse look on the end there. I can't figure out how to make that be over a pair of glasses for better effect.)

At least it's something you can fix if you decide to! (Yeah, me and the regular intentional exercise have not been on speaking terms for years...)

That's what we get for moving off the farms. Less physical work and crappier food habits. The price we pay for progress I suppose..

I'm still at least two stone overweight, but slowly turning that into less of a rock collection. My husband has lost about a stone and is keeping it off. (Go lean and semi-muscular man!) He putteth me to shame, yea verily.

Well, gotta go celebrate garlic with my sister who's visiting from Turkey!

Me!

slowly recovering from a concussion, fatigue, brain scrambled when tired, constant headache, get dizzy when move to quickly so can't run or lift weights and despite being on a fit note, crazy work load aggrivating problems through stress and overwork (still not doing full hours but still busy) leading to worse headaches and ibs issues.

Think that covers it, before this sounds too much like a horrible moan, am getting better slowly and I actully felt like I could play the drums for a bit yesterday even if I was exhausted after fourty five mins!

Also, Castle series 2 just started over and I'm buying all sorts of fun drum stuff now that I feel like I can at least start playing normally again.

you didn't clear it, just a lot of things moving slower these days. Business isn't so great. Maybe it's the economy.

Today, I am happy, because I nearly doubled my high score on Robot Unicorn Attack. I still can't touch the all-time high score list, though.
Today, I am disturbed, because my dating site profile has been found by someone who vaguely knew me from my days as a convenience store wage slave, who I didn't have a lot in common with. He seems to think I'll just jump at the chance to go out with him, even though it's clearer now than it ever was that we have nothing in common. Single doesn't mean I'll go for just anything. Someone please explain men to me.
Today, I am frustrated, because I know there's all kinds of money out there for a poor student wanting to go into science. Maybe being able to figure out the process is part of how they make sure you're smart enough to be worth their money.
And today, I am thrilled, because my clothes are really starting to fit me differently, and I continue to have more energy than ever.
I'll stop rambling now.

Ok I'll liven things up by laying out a buffet:)

Also I belive this bar needs a signature drink...and here it is

The Firefly Women ( straight forward vodka for Zoe, smooth rich decadent chocolate for Inara, spicy unexpected kick of pepper for River, and fluffy, sweet, and fragrent whipped cream for Kaylee)

Firefly Women's Martini
1 shot Firefly Vodka
1 shot chocolate liquor
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1 shot heavy cream lightly whipped to a foam (not stiff peaks)
1 tsp orange zest
shaved chocolate to garnish

In a shaker place ice, vodka, chocolate liquor and pepper. Shake well and strain into martini glass. gently fold the zest into the lightly whipped cream then pour it on top and garnish with shaved chocolate.

Am stuck on hold with IRS..they suck

Wish rum were a choice ATM...sadly am at school and no help there

Plus sadly my Wednesday will be endless. My school is doing an open house from 7-9pm and since we live so far away it's pointless for me to drive an hour to school, teach all day, drive an hour home turn around 2 hours later drive an hour back and have the open house and then an hour drive home....so I will be at my school from 7:40 am til 9:30 pm and then have an hour drive home.
Plus I won't see Johnny at all since he may not be up before I leave and he'll have long since gone to bed by the time I get home so he'll go a really long time without seeing me...in fact if he's sleeping as he should I won't see him Thursday am either so by the time I see him he will have seen me Tuesday night and not see me again until Thursday afternoon.

I once didn't see Boychild for an entire week straight due to that shit. The sitter was seeing more of him than I was. I cried a lot while I was conscious and not at work. Up by 4:30 and out the door by 5 (child sleeping)to drive in an hour and catch a shuttle to make it to work on time, then work a 12 hour shift, wait 45 minutes for the shuttle to the car, drive an hour (or longer if snowing), (child already sound asleep)then study for big exam until about midnight. Lather, rinse, repeat. Day off was spent at review for big exam.
Needless to say it had to end.
(See? Doesn't "just" one day seem not quite as bad as it did five minutes ago even though it still sucks?!)
My arm still hurts, the vending machine took my money, then took another nickel, then finally gave me my damned *two* bags of peanuts, then my pants split when I bent down to get my f**king lunch.
Now I'm pouting because what I really want to do is ditch the lab I have to stick around for and go drop off my Rx, hit the SallyAm to pick up a few warm shirts for winter, grab some greasy salty takeout food, pick up my Rx and salad, go home and take a nap with a heating pad on my arm, play a game with Boychild (who has the day off) and then get dinner ready for tonight when my sister and nephews are coming over.

What is going to happen: I will sit here and bitch, then study for the midterm tomorrow a little as I eat my f**king peanuts, go to the damned lab and look at bacterial colonies which should glow under UV light, go home, forget to pick up salad, cuss a lot, get dinner ready, stick my face back in the books as soon as everyone has left, and then wake up in time to go take a midterm. Sounds waaaay more fun, doesn't it?
