-Lumpy (Michael Fairman), SOA Season 3, Episode 5, Turning and Turning

Wasn't there a similar line in FF?

Didn't fit the SOA script, seemed more like an intentional FF reference.

America loves a winner!

Sounds more like Godfather than Firefly.

Can't remember if there was a line like that in FF but it is definitely a reference to The Godfather.

Most times the line is mis-quoted as "I made him an offer he couldn't refuse." But the actual line by Al Pacino as Michael is "My Father made him an offer he couldn't refuse."

Who's "Miska"?

The modern definition of "socialist" is anyone who's winning an argument against a tea-bagger.

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Saw SOA Tuesday, and while it was good to see "Niska" on tv again, I didn't take away from his brief appearance any Firefly shoutouts.
