Johnny's birthday was awesome!! He mangled the daylights out of his cake and ran around crazed, but he had a good time:)

Ok ponder- what is your oldest tv memory???
Mine is watching Sesame Street when I was 3. My mom would slice up oranges and my friend Kristin and I would sit and watch and eat oranges

TV memory: I would watch He-man and then get my He-man sword and go over to the fence and tell/act out the story to Max the dog next door. Max would be super excited and wage his tail and run around in circles. Then eventually I'd get done with the story and go off to play. Then Max would be so over excited that he'd jump the fence into our yard and I'd be freaked out of this overly excited dog who tried to jump on me. Then the neighbors would have to come get him.

Eventually the neighbors got tired of this routine and Max went to pound. Sorry Max!

I think it's more sad than cute. Poor Max.

If you want cute it's the story of my mom leaving me in front of the TV watching Benji. When the mean old bad guys kicked Benji and he yelped I started balling. When my mom found me she flipped out thinking I was hurt. I was just like "they kicked Benji!!!!"

Have I ever mentioned that I have a weakness for cute cuddly animals but like in a totally manly and awesome kind of way?

I have a sad animal rule in which I will not watch movies or tv shows where an animal is sad, hurt, lost cold, or distressed

Seriously what's with animal themed movies and killing animals? Bambi, Old Yeller, Where the Red Fern Grows, etc. It's like they sucker in all the animal lovers just to kill the animals. Jerks!

Ponder: has anyone come across a more convoluted and confusing opening to a discussion about two competing company's product lines that this, "When you make a date with a special someone to go to an event you have been looking forward to, and perhaps paid a fair amount to attend, you don't want to show up to see sloppy attire and watch a practice session with mistakes and discussions of what the performers might like to do if they had the opportunity."?

Pretty sure Sesame Street airs quite regularly still.

Though I think our perception was way off as kids. I tried watching thundercats again and it's pretty bad. Though I must say the Zelda cartoons that were like little short things they showed during the Super Mario Brothers show are still pretty awesome. "Kiss me princess!" That Link ruled.

3- Pinky and the Brain
4- Batman the animated series
