Y'know, every now and then, I forget why it is that I *NEVER* read the Talkbacks on AICN.

Then I slip, read one, and it all comes crashing back onto me.

Ta ma de! What a puerile mound of mean-spirited adolescent go-se. It's like everyone who posts there is Eric Cartman...*without* the diligent parental supervision of that great moral compass, Mrs. Cartman.

Oy.

Do read the snippet, as it is gratifying. But do yourself a favor and skip the Talkback outright. Or, if you are like me, and feel compelled to read just how bad it can be, then FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THE GODS AND THEIR PET GOSLINGS, do NOT post anything. It will accomplish nothing save to contaminate your brain, and possibly drag you down into the muck. Just come on back and bask in the convivial company of your fellow Browncoats, who know how to have actual conversations (what a concept!).

Ahh, I get kick out of the Talk Backs. They're funny, as long as you don't get offended. It's not like thy're gonna change how I feel about my favorite stuff.

Edit: Just read the Talkback. Okay, so sure it's mean-spirited and juvenile, but just remember, most of them are disgruntled, bitter failed filmmakers...! (Still funny, though!)

While I agree the AICN talkbacks are general filled with morons I still think its pretty important that us browncoats get over there and post good things about Serenity. You be suprised how many people base their opinions on stuff they read in the talkbacks and in the past people have generally posted pretty negative about Serenity/Firefly.

Honestly, no-one actually reads AICN talkbacks seriously - don't waste your breath. I think there is a Browncoat on there right now, as having read his posts to the most vitriolic neg poster, he keeps using the term "troll". Whoever it is, I applaud the sentiment, but the way they have gone about it has descended into what is typical of an AICN "debate"
