A while back I read here (or maybe on the official site?) of a mod for NEVERWINTER NIGHTS for Firefly...

Does anyone know the status of this? If so, anyone know if it requires either Undrentide or Underdark?

FIREFLEW

IT was created I think, by Forrestwolf, a fellow FFF. I played a DM'ed version of it, and as far as I can remember it may only have required the original game, perhaps SoU.

The status is that it works when there is a DM leading the game, otherwise the story won't really progress.

It's a very fun mod to play, I must say. The four hour game session was first and it was great to be able to play in the Firefly Universe.

Very cool. Since it needs to be DM'd, if Forrestwolf or anyone wants to organize a game, maybe we can organize it in this thread. I'd sure love to play!

It's a big lot - I'm very lucky that I had just got Broadbamd when downloading it.

But yeah, I'd also be interested in participating in a game - is anyone else?

I think Forrestwolf was also looking to create or enhance the Firefly mods, so help would be appreciated.

FORRESTWOLF

Yep, that would be me. A whole Neverwinter Nights system, now - ELEVEN Traveller-based character classes for your gaming fun. Very useable as a campaign system - even has low power psionics that match Firefly rather well. Only requires NWN Original, on purpose. Available for download on nwvault.com (search for Forrestwolf - it's called the Hero of Canton). Lots of haks involved (about 120 MB).

Eliandi is starting one weekly campaign - already booked up for players (some from here!). I'm going to start my own weekly Firefly campaign in a couple of weeks (once I finally finish my D&D NWN campaign that's been running for well over a year).

I'll be looking for players for that, but space will be tight, I'd guess. If you or other people have ANY interest DM'ing, I would be GLAD to help train you by co-DMing and offering advice. Go to www.neverwinterconnections.com to get some great roleplaying players and DM's and learn the REAL way to play NWN :)

I *might* have a single player slot open. And I definately would be willing to help teach someone to DM and basic toolset building if you are interested in running your own FF campaign. We play on Sundays at 9pm CT.
