Okay, so I have 100 "Serenity" 5x7 postcards from Comic Con to give out to people... if you want one, send me an email to wileythewolf (at) comcast (dot) net with your mailing address. Don't post your address here... make sure you email it. (The offer's open to anybody anywhere, not just in the States.)

I believe the postage will be the same whether I send these as postcards (because they're considered oversized postcards and require regular first-class postage) or in envelopes... so do you guys have a preference?

Wiley

That's mighty generous of you . Personally I'd prefer if you would send in an envelope simply because I'd like to place on my bedroom wall. However, if this is not feasible, or if other Brown Coasts feel otherwise; either way is fine, and your genorosity is emphatically appreciated

I popped you an email. It might be worth while to have us send you SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) to save you $$$ and so we can get them without USPO abuse

Thanx

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Mighty generous of you IroncladOtter.

Sent you an email. I would take it as a kindness if you dropped mine in an envelope to keep it in unused condition. I am much obliged to you.

Okay, everybody, from the state of my email box this morning it looks like every last postcard is spoken for. Tonight when I get home and am able to download all the emails onto my computer, I'll send messages to everybody who didn't make it to let them know so they can go hunting for postcards elsewhere (I hope some other folks out there snagged stacks, too). I'll also contact everyone who did make it into the 100 and let them know when their postcard has been mailed... will probably do it this weekend and definitely will be mailing everything in envelopes.

Not true... I snagged these on Sunday as the sail pavilion was closing... people had about ten minutes left to grab stuff from the freebie table before the con ended, there were very few people still around, and there were several stacks of hundreds of postcards each. I barely made a dent in the numbers, and I'm pretty sure they still had another boxful behind the table. Give me a little credit, man.

Thanks again IronCladOtter. Got my shiny Serenity postcard in the mail yesterday. The Blue Hands stamp in the return address area was a nice touch.

Can someone scan one of these so that those of us who missed out on both the con and the free giveaway can see it?

Nowhere near a scanner right now, but will be happy to scan it for you tonight.

The postcard looks exactly like the movie poster in the Blue Sun room on this site here:

http://www.fireflyfans.net/sunroomitem.asp?i=1599

Of course the post card does not have the pics of the BDHs at the bottom and no autographs of course.
