Hello!!

I am a big fan of Alan Tudyk and was wondering if there are any other Tudyk Fans out there?! Is there a collective noun for Alan fans??

I'm sure there must be a few fans here, I thought he played a great role with Wash our skilled flyer

I've just posted a thread on Wash here

http://www.fireflyfans.net/thread.asp?b=4&t=6616

I'm not a fan of the big hollywood blockbusters so I haven't seen Alan Tudyk in I-robot , I may not be a blockbuster film fan but I'm still very glad he's getting some recognition as a talented actor

I will however try ma' best to be first in line to see him and the other crew in Universal's firefly movie come 2005

Yes, yes forever yes. I love him with the fervor of a thousand burning suns.

I am so with the melodrama. But yes, I am an Alan Tudyk fan-- have loved everything he's ever done. Even, "A Knight's Tale," which was cheesy and goofy, but had the word "fong."

And Wash has always been my favorite character-- probably too favorite. Every time I see the name "Wash Warren" I have to count to 10 so as not to post an invective laden flame at the non-fan who GOT HIS NAME WRONG! I mean, copied some incorrect information from the IMDB. Ahem.

I don't know if there's a collective noun. I think one or two got tried but never stuck. It's not easy like, "Fillionaire." But oh well. I'll still sigh and squee and swoon all over every little bit of news.

This summer has been tons of that. Sigh. Squee. Swoon.

aaaarrrrrrrr

skipped Irobot as well, but he was great as
Pirate Steve in dodgeball

I think he really enjoys the more goofy roles

I saw I, Robot, on the request of my Asimov-loving friend. The film was pretty good, and it was pretty cool how Sonny was a robot, but was also Alan - hell, there were times when he was Wash.

America loves a winner!

It's my lowly opinion that Alan has been, to date, terribly unappreciated in his craft. However, part of me see's this as a good thing, as it is more likely to keep him around for Serenity 2 and 3.

Yeah I reckon Alan needs loads more recognition as an actor! He's amazing in anything he's done! I really can't think of a bad role that he has undertaken!

There's a group of Alan fans on the OB that refer to themselves as "Valkyries". Can't remember why though...

Ha ha, I think, Lerxst. I suggested Valkyries cos they're the handmaidens of the Viking Gods. And Alan Tudyk is a viking, or at least Tuetonic, god.

I didn't think it stuck, though. Then again, I haven't been to the OB in a year or something. If you say it did, well then hey. Valkyries!

The OB is the "official board" or what was the official board back when the show was actually on television. fox.com/firefly or somesuch.

I'm an Alan Tudyk fan. I go out of my way to watch movies with him in it, just based on that.

That was you? Holy crap, I didn't know that. I just remembered someone having mentioned it on the OB a couple weeks back. I guess you left a legacy over there.

Different nick, same obsession. If I left a legacy, good for me. Only no one knows its me, it seems, so oh well.

But Viking God, am I right? He is soooo beautiful.

I love Alan!

He rules big time, I can't wait to see if he's coming for Starfury:Serenity in April.

BTW Valkyries? I think Tudyk is a Polish name. See my website for more info on Polish Texans!
