Wheadon, Wins & Weaving…….

Sorry my browncoat friends if I get a little talkative in this lengthy post.

Although I hardly post anything but fan-fic here anymore there are questions and opinion that I do value of my browncoat buddies.

First of all I’m kinda revved up about having an extra fruitful day yesterday (Monday, 7-25-11) when it comes to news of Firefly, it’s alumni, and/or JW himself. So sparse is the news these days about a tv show that I’ve grown to love.

Anyhoo, Monday, being my one day off from work this week, had me running through the tv stations when I came across G4’s live broadcast of Comic-Con 2011. I really enjoyed watching the program the 2 hours I was able to watch and I thank Kevin & Candice for being the excellent hosts they were with all the folks that they interviewed. I actually found a big grin forming across the ’ol Z face.

This being noted, I was able to catch the interview with Summer ( Love ’ya Summer and I have a son your age that would make an excellent addition to your family…..lol) just joking, but I will say that if Miss Glau is in a show, I’ll be there to watch it! Can’t wait to see her in Alphas & Knights of Badassdom.

Also caught Nathan’s interview. All I can say is Nate, you are the browneeish of Browncoats. If anyone has kept the faith of Firefly going it is you my friend. You are truly the Captain of Serenity!

Also news of Joss witting the “Avengers” and Sarah Michelle Gellar staring a new tv series and Felecia Day guesting on WH13 was so very cool!

Ok, now my question to my browncoat friends, lets say that a sequel to the BDM would happen, or hell, I’ll go for broke here and say that a mini series or new adventure of Firefly should be picked up by a network in 2012. I have a couple of dudes that I’d love to see playing the part of Parliament, or even another set of badass “Hands of Blue” guys.

Ben Wins (Lost) & Hugo Weaving (Matrix) would be the perfect gentlemen as being the…. so untouchable individuals of the “ Powers in Control” people. Just wanted to run that idea by ya. What do you think? These folk are the icons of slime riden-untouchables. Does anyone know of others?

These actors are a credit to their craft. They have my skin crawling just at the mere sight of them. I know actors hate to be typecast but I can’t help myself.

Anyway, if a BDM2 comes our way these two fellows would make excellent Baddies.

“ Smells like victory”, so to say……

That’s about it for now.

Take care, and We HOLD, Z out!
