SIMON
Savings? Uh, excellent. That's, uh, because, as I -- as I said before, I'm going to, um, I'm going to be needing quite a bit of it. I, uh, I-I'm a buyer.

...

SIMON
Yes. Uh, I - I've heard, uh, great things, about the mud

WASH
(to Kaylee)
What happened to Simon? Who is this diabolical master of disguise?

When Mal is waking up, there is a babble of conversation. I could not understand any of it until Wash says "he can scrape it off the wall" (I'm happy to know, now, that he was talking about cake!). Apparently Shrift has been able to decipher the conversations. I downloaded the transcript when it was first posted, but the lines you quote here were not in that version. Thanks for the heads up!

I'd be gratefull if german had none of it, too.
and a book is clearly neither female nor male (at least in german, the french would probably see it in a very different way but I don't know any french). so you see we have not only male chairs and female benches but also neuter books.

Now, here is a joke. You won't like it.
Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like bananas.

made me chuckl a bit. is it supposed to mean anything? one could try to interpret it in different ways... just kidding.

Ah, French...the most evil language of them all. To keep from launching into the infamous "French Rant," I will merely take the example of a book, "un livre." Make that feminine (as in spell it wrong!), and it becomes "une livre," a pound. Drop the article all together, and it becomes the present tense of the verb "deliver." Because object pronouns and definte articles are the same (le, la, l'), le livre means "the book," "[he] delivers it," "[he will]deliver it," or "[he is]delivering it."

Idefix, your english is better than mine.
"I wish I wasn't madly in love with a beautiful woman right now...who can kill me with her pinky." (or something to that efffect. Madly in love, kill with pinky... I haven't even seen the episode, i don't know the words!)

This is one of my favorites. In bushwacked when they discover the Reavers have rigged explosives if they try to detatch from the ship.

Hey Haken... we seem to be experiencing some technical difficulties today. Is something changing on the back end of the site?

HAKEN

Likes to mess with stuffs.

Yeah, ever since the website got moved to a new webserver, the back end has been acting up. Don't know if it's a configuration issue or just users thinking there was an error but there wasn't and then resubmit the post again that results in multiple posts.
