Here's one for all the quotemongers.

Looking for Firefly proverbs, truisms, and philosophies -- but there's a hitch. They have to make sense out of context, without knowing a thing about the characters, and not be a multi-character dialogue extract, but rather one coherent thought. Speeches, one-liners, anything that says something about life even if you've never heard of Firefly.

Think of it as a challenge. And you never know, these might just come in handy for all those hoping to convert others...

And I've already got "We've done the impossible and that makes us mighty".

The Bible is quite specific on the subject of killing, however it is some what fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

The Journey is the worthier part.

"Don't step on ducks. if you demonstrate competence at work it becomes part of your job description."

Now, we're all browncoats here. What would you write in response???

It's entrancing when a misquote works as well as the original.
