Howdy there! Perhaps some of you have heard of Abbeyshot Clothiers, perhaps not...in any case, they make replicas of cool-looking coats and such from movies, TV, and other such things. Well, it appears that there are some Firefly fans on the forums, and it also appears that they've made good headway towards getting a Browncoat made by these folks. Granted, they're expensive coats, but I wouldn't be too surprised to find that some people on here would be willing to pay upwards of $500 for a REAL (er...real-looking, at least) browncoat.

Anyway, here's the thread on the suggestion forums there. If you want one of these, I'd highly suggest posting to show your support: http://www.abbyshot.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1267

That is all.

I think I'll hope for that, AND hope that it doesn't turn out to be the most expensive coat there. I think they range from around $350 to $650 on there now...if we got lucky, the browncoat would be more toward the former, eh?

Man, the products they have up there are amazing. A Vash the Stampede coat? Who woulda thunk it? If they can make a red, button-up, high-collared coat like that, the Browncoat should be easy. But, y'know, cheaper. I mean, we're all travelin' the 'verse looking for jobs and living hand to mouth, after all.

Heheh, yeah...I think it would be a piece of cake for those designers. The only problem they might have, I imagine, would be the fasteners, since they'd have to be custom-made by some different people.

Well, at least lots o' people here have, y'know, JOBS. One can only make so much money when one is a high-school junior. Especially when one isn't even employed. *turns out pockets* Speaking of that, I've still gotta order me one of those Serenity patches.

I sent a suggestion to AbbyShot that there are many people who would LOVE this coat. I'm posting on the suggestion board also. She needs screen captures of more angles of the coat. I wish I could do that, but I haven't gotten around to getting a DVD player in my main PC yet. Anyone out there have some good ones to send them?
