The following is a copy of a message on the Fox Firefly board. For those who dont go there, there are being plans made for a bunch of folk in different areas to get together and watch Firefly.

If your area isnt listed, and you would like to host one, you are more than welcome to. Just email Allyson to let her know. I believe there is a Bay Area one in the works.

The date is December 20th, the airing of the two-hour pilot.

Since you all don't know each other, I suggest meeting up at a bar or restaurant in your area that will allow you to turn the television to Firefly, and wouldn't mind a news crew hanging around, if your affiliate covers it.

Please email Allyson@davidfury.net if you want to contact your FOX affiliate to ask them to cover your party.

Thos who have EMAILED me that they are looking for a host I'm working on it. If you've posted to me, I probably haven't had time to pick it up off the board.

I wish I was a jellyfish because jellyfish dont pay rent.

well, i already had a small one at my school. It went well, although i'd love to make it bigger. I'd love to host another... but i'm not sure how to logistically work it. Obviously the bar idea is out for me. If ideas are given, then perhaps you can add a VT one.

yep. at school. It went well, but it was a little smaller than i had hoped. That was kinda my fault. I had it right after a vacation, so people kind of forgot, and i didn't advertise it too well, because i didn't make it official. Technically, if i wanted to make it a school activity, i'd have to have a chaperone.. but that's just silly. There were teachers right around. A couple more wanted to come, but had to go to a meeting. I got 2 people into it. It's a start. I plan to do it again, and maybe i can figure out how to get more people to go.

I'll do whatever it takes and then some to keep firefly going!
