Hello Everyone,

Just in case you missed it back in February, about six months ago, I developed a small board-game based on Firefly.

It's a co-operative game, in the spirit of the show, playable by 1-9 players.

You can read more about it and download printable PDFs by joining the playtesting Yahoo discussion group here:

http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/fftbg/

So far I've gotten good feedback, but only from a select few people - not quite enough to warrant a full reworking yet.

I've also developed a new boardgame in the meantime, tentatively titled "Firefly: Trader Captains" where each player takes on the role of an Independant trader flying a Firefly-class transport trading goods between worlds of the Firefly 'Verse.

It's playable by 3-6 players, and is less linear than the first game.

If there's enough interest, or the possibility of someone hosting the files, I'll do them up as PDFs and post them somewhere.

Oh, if you sign up and then click on links in the file section which says something about "file not available" or something to that effect, YahooGroups has some manner of download limit per day. If that limit is exceeded, it stops permitting downloads for a little while.

If you get non-functioning links just let me know on the e-mail list and I'll try to get it to you another way.

If anyone would like to volunteer file hosting space, I would be very grateful and happy to upload the files there for general distribution.

Well, I figured I'd give this thread one last punt before letting it sink back into the depths of obscurity.

I'm going to give people who have downloaded the game two more weeks for input, then I'm going to re-release the entire package with updated rules, a few graphic changes, and optional rules for randomly generated adventures.

More info here:

Mea culpa for the double-self-punt. I just thought people might be interested.

I did miss this, I've only been on the board for a few months. It sounds like fun! I haven't had time to read the whole thing yet, just found it a few moments ago and I've got to get to work, but I bookmarked it and plan to check it out throughly tonight when I return!!

I'll be in my bunk...
