Likes to mess with stuffs.

When Farscape was cancelled, the entire set had to be destroyed, packed up, and shipped out.

Does anyone know when the sets for Firefly must be taken down? There is a substantial cost for rebuilding all the sets, so I assume if Firefly is going to another network, the new network would want everything intact to cut cost.

Joss or Tim or Kelly (I forget which one) mentioned in a post that FOX, or possibly 20th century FOX (I forget that too), is giving them a certain amount of time to find a new home. Of course, if it takes too long, the set will be destroyed, and "Firefly" be lost forever. Unless we get a "Firefly: The Movie." (yeah, right)

But Buffy season 1 was made in 1996, and aired in 1997, and the second season was made after like a really long break, but yet the sets were never destroyed. Why is Firefly different?

Yes, but "Buffy" wasn't cancelled or placed on hiatus. Pretty much all shows have a four-month-or-so break over the summer.
