Hey has anyone noticed how similar the characters Jayne Cobb and Animal Mother (in stanley kubricks masterpiece FULL METAL JACKET) are? Both psychotic, not very bright, but utterly capable under fire. Both only really care about getting laid, and killing stuff. Two great characters in my opinion.

And Melkor fled before the laughter of Tulkas, and hated him ever after.

Yeah, it's called "type casting". Perhaps "Monster Maker", with its cover box I can barely look at, is his effort to kibosh that.
