For those who don't know, World of Warcraft is a computer MMORPG game currently in closed beta and developed by Blizzard Software based on their popular Warcraft series. In the "Special Thanks To" section of the game's credits, they give thanks to Firefly!

Sure, they also give thanks to Britney Spears and Da Ali G Show, but it's cool nontheless!

May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Very shiny!

I guess some of the games developers are Firefly fans. Hopefully their thanks to the show will drive some of the Warcraft fans over to check out the DVD and the BDM.

hmm. THAT is enough to make me participate in open beta :).

And, if it's good, pick up the game when it's released, despite my own hostility towards MMORPGS.

I just looked and yes they do thank firefly. Firefly was pretty high up there in the special thanks (which was HUGE). They also thanked their foosball table so I'm going to the foosball forums and posting there too.
