DANGER !!! Creations Conventions

As much as I want Firefly/Serenity to be the next decades *big thing*, I just had a horrible, disgusting thought.

Creations Conventions. You know those guys with their pre-packaged, boring, mass produced, fake conventions.

Years ago, they signed a deal with Paramount and locked down anything "Star Trek". No one but Creations can get any actors or writers or anything to do with Star Trek. Since then, they've also contracted for monopolies on other franchises. They're gobbling up everything SciFi and sucking all the fun out of fandom.

I went to three Creations cons over a period of three years in three different cities. Their 'conventions' don't change. It's always the same boring announcer reciting the same lame chatter.

As much as I want Serenity to be the hugest success since Alexander the Great ordered his "Top of the World, Ma!" balloon bouquet, I'm begging Joss NOT to allow Creations to steal Firefly.

I got free tickets to a creation convetion in london for Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis. i was pretty excited as they were gold tickets, you got the whole package with them, and they were free. but closer to the time more fellow convention goers were dropping out. There were only 4 cast members due to be there, only 2 main cast members. All of which were appearing separately on separate days.
