If this is true, then I am done with Fox.

This is not the first time I've started enjoying a series and then they have yanked it off the air before giving it a chance.

You can only screw me so many times.

I heard that.

I'll even stop watching the Simpsons over this which is almost like blasphemy coming from me...

I'm with you guys. any station that would replace something amazing like Firefly with something so ridiculously brainless like Joe Millionaire doesn't deserve to be viewed by anyone with half a brain.

DOWN WITH FOX! DEATH TO FOX!

You're a lot smarter than you look. Of course, you look like a retard.

I don't think it's that simple.

Joe Millionare is only a 7 week show... it was never designed to replace any show, much less Firefly. Come March, Fox will still need something to throw in that time slot. The question is what will fox replace Firefly with? That decision is what I will judge Fox by.

I know that Joe Millionaire isn't a full season series. But my point is, this is a network that makes those types of decisions. Fox is the kind of network that spends all that time and money on a show about lying to a bunch of gold-digging bitches and then saying "can love survive a $50 million lie?" It's an insult. And any station that would cancel an amazing show like Firefly with such a loyal fan base after only a few short episodes, and in the same breath air a show like Joe Millionaire that is nothing but a gimmick... I'm sorry. They don't deserve my viewership. The last episode of Firefly to air on Fox will be the last hour of Fox television I watch.

I SO hope that a large percentage of Firefly viewers watch John Doe, as I do. I will no longer be watching John Doe, starting tomorrow. I hope their numbers drop through the basement. Nothing against John Doe, Purcell(?) has some talent and the story has potential, but it's not an incredible to-die-for show. I will now only watch FOX to see Andy Richter Controls the Universe. Until that show gets cancelled.... May FOX soon realize (and all networks) that the rules of the game are changing; I hope they don't get left in the dark.

Bob,
I feel your frustration... but my addiction for 24 won't let me boycott the network.

Lets all join the parade! I am now down to 3 shows a week that I care enough to make an effort to see. That is down three hours from last year since Dark Angel, Farscape and one I can not remember the name of (which sort of tells you how long it was on) We kicked it around at our house and came to the conclusion that the - cheap - purchase of a NOAA weather radio would probably replace Time Warner Cable except we would still need a source for Duke basketball games! I don't care about the games so as far as I am concerned everything but the road runner can be a disconnect. I rarely watch a premier and next season I won't.
