1st ever Shindig in Montreal! Aug 21

Hey there
I posted this bit of info in the events calender, but I want to make sure everyone possible can see it.

Basically I am from montreal, and there is no
current active browncoat community. For a city of 3 million, thats unacceptable.

The shindig will take place on August 21st, around 2 pm. It will be a picnic/potluck, and weather permitting it will be outdoors.

For people who want to join the MTL shindig or if can't make it, but you are from montreal region( it would be nice to make contact), or you are not from MTL but have browncoat friends in MTL, you should email

montrealshindig@gmail.com

Also, if you want to bring friends/family you are more than welcome, but please let us know.

We need every browncoat in the region we can get, so this community can sustain itself. A secondary point of getting the MTLers together, is to also spread the word of Serenity across town via posters in coffee shops/libraries/comic book stores.

Finally, if any of you is canadian or a canadian wanna-be , please join the canadian browncoats on the yahoo group.

The more canadians in that group, the more chance we can have shindigs in other parts of canada besides toronto and vancouver.
