Or however you want to spell the sound that comes out of a Browncoat's mouth when they are sitting calmly in a theater waiting for a sappy chic flick to start and what should apear on the screen in front of them but that beloved ship we all know and love... Serenity.

That's right, I was waiting for "Must Love Dogs" to start and the theater has the great slide show going, then it starts into a bit of commercials and little featurettes before the official commercials and trailers even start. Up on the screen comes an awesome featurette about Firefly and how it became a huge sensation and got made into a movie. Joss is shown numerous times talking about things like how he would never let this die... it showed footage from the show... backstage footage of the movie (nothing spoilerish)... and even some fun stuff with some of our BDH's!!!!! My favorite was Nathan and Adam sitting next to each other, obviousely on the "Serenity" set and Nathan is talking about how satisfying it is to see this little tv show made into a big time movie, and Adam breaks in with a loud "Vindication!!!" and his winning smile.

I'm still all keyed up and the movie itself is long over. (Funny movie, too bad it was upstaged by Firefly!)

Now we just need to get a copy of this up on the internet!

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

You are so lucky! Hopefully this is the stuff they're gonna show during Firefly on Scifi.

If not, was it a Regal or an AMC? I have to see it!

Wow, I wonder if this the featurette from the bonus disk on the Series 1 DVD set for Battlestar Gallactica.

Yep it is, and I know we were warned not to watch it, but I missed my BDH so very much, and needed a shot of something new. I've rewatched the series for I don't know how many times, and when I saw the advert on B.G. I had to get it. I also liked the way it had exerpts of the BDH at opening events, and the way they praised the audience for making this happen.

It was at an AMC theater. And from the sounds of the bonus material linked with the Battlestar Galactica disks, I think it's a shortened version.

Someone else I know saw a Serenity preview I think at a Regal theatre, but it may have just been trailer 2. I forgot what movie it was. But we should keep a running tally of which movies have Serenity previews and at which theatre! lol

This wasn't necessarily a tally mark for "Must Love Dogs" The featureette was just in the mix of things that the theater shows to people before the lights go down and the film reel starts. It's more like a tally mark for AMC theaters.
