How would I know if one of those screening will be in my area?

Okay, I now know that this screening is a special industry-type thing. I also realize that it's theater folk telling us about them. So far, no Virginians in positions of authority at a movie theater have made their voices heard.

Does anyone know how a person so inclined could determine if there will be a screening in their area (without calling every last theater)?

this lates round of screenings were by invitation
invites went to local Browncoat groups or other sci fi groups

not sure how many there are I have ony seen messages from 3 or 4 cities

Also, I can kill you with my brain.
