I'm modifying my original post some to turn the thread into any little things people have noticed or wondered about they'd like to share.
1. In 'Out of Gas' after Mal gets shot, goes to the infirmary, bandages his wound, and injects adrenaline into his heart he goes to fix the engine. As he's walking there, we see that he took the time to rebutton his shirt. Does that seem strange to anyone else? He seemed perfectly comfortable being naked in front of the whole crew in Trash, but he feels he can't have his shirt unbuttoned when he's alone...and, you know, dying.
2. In 'Bushwhacked', when the Alliance soldiers are searching the ship they check under the placemats. It's not even that they just move them, they actually pick them up and check the other side. I guess they want to make sure nobody had shrunk themselves down and was clinging to the underside of a placemat.
3. At the end of 'Safe', River steals the bread off Jayne's plate. I just noticed it after watching it for the many-ith time and thought it was funny.
4. Whenever Serenity docks with an Alliance cruiser, she docks upside down. How does transfer between ships work? I get that it wouldn't affect the point of view of the folks in Serenity because of artificial gravity, but the direction of the pull of artificial gravity on Serenity and on the cruiser would be in opposite directions.

These are just a few things I found funny and/or interesting. If anyone has any comments or other moments please jump in.

Maybe he was cold. No heat on the ship, and the blood loss could cause his temp to drop. Maybe? (Trying to play devil's advocate; not sure how well I'm doing.)
