I am going to be in Amsterdam on 6 October, and London on 7 October, and I would really like to see the premieres of the BDM in both cities with local browncoats, if possible.

Anyone care to invite me to their premiere parties?

Eh GreekToomey, the Amsterdam premiere is next Tuesday, on Sept. 6th... Oooops?
I do hope you're just mistaken in the date? That you meant September?
Otherwise... big problem! Hope you can still cancel you're flight or whatever. For as far as I know, nothing's going on on Oct. 6th.

Initially the movie would have it's release on Oct. 6 (which is what the dutch browncoats site still shows).
But yesterday UIP informed us that the release of the BDM in the Netherlands is set back to Nov. 17, for yet unexplained reasons.
About 50 Browncoats will be around for the premiere next Tuesday(in the cinema), people coming over from Germany and Belgium as well.
Maybe you should visit www.browncoats.nl
(you have to register before you can read this thread: http://browncoatsnl.proboards41.com/index.cgi?board=shin&action=displa
y&thread=1125476163
. In this thread you can find useful info about the premiere. In English).

Hope it will all work out...

Well, crap.

Your post confuses me - are you saying the Dutch premiere on 6 September or 17 November?

I'm not making the trip specifically for the premiere, though - I just happen to be taking an 18-day holiday that prevents me from seeing the U.S. premiere, so I figured I would catch the U.K. premiere... then I saw that the Netherlands premiere was the previous day.

Is the UK premiere still set for 7 October?

The premiere is next Tuesday, on Sept. 6.
But the release (when other people can see it as well,) is, as far as we know now, November 17.
Doesn't mean that it can't change, I believe the releasedate has changed 5 times already.
I emailed someone at browncoats.nl yesterday, and asked if they could change the banner, because it is confusing, keeping that Oct. 6 date up.

As far as I know there's been no change in the UK premiere. But ya never know!

Enjoy your trip anyway!
