I'm a UK-based Browncoat & will be vacationing in USA in September:
NYC 10 to 14 Sept
LA 14 to 22 Sept

Is the BDM likely to have any previews while I'm there?

Otherwise I'll have to wait until 7th Oct in the UK

Ugh, you are just gonna miss the latest screening in NYC. We are having a press screening here tomorrow 9/06. We haven't heard anything about an additional screening next week, but I've been told that it is common for there to be multiple press screening in the few weeks before a movie opens, so I guess it's possible there could be another one while you are here. We are having an informal meetup on Saturday the 10th that you are very welcome to come to. We pretty much just sit around and chat and drink beer for a few hours. We usually have about 6 - 10 Browncoats show up. It's a nice relaxing time and we would love it if you could join us. We like new people... they all have stories... :D The meetup info is on the site I listed above, but I'll include the basic info here, too.

I don't know about any additional screenings in Los Angeles beyond the one on September 6th but a group of us are trying to get together for the red carpet premier of Serenity on September 22 at Universal Citywalk in Los Angeles. We're trying to get a reserved space with a TV that has a good view of our BDH at the Hard Rock Cafe.
