Apparently the official DVDs have been released and i'm wondering what the general concensus is?

Is the quality good? Are the menus any good? Box cover and disk images any good?

Havent seen the set in Australia but if you can recommend it I may have to buy from overseas.

Cover art is pretty neat. They did a good job with that. The quality of the DVDs is in question though. Some people have had issues with pixalation. Personally, I have yet to run into that problem, but I've only watched about 1/3 of the episodes. The menues are ok. They work and have some pictures of the cast and/or scenes from eps. Otherwise, the menues are very basic. Fox obviously did not spend much time nor money on this DVD set (not a surprise though). Two out of the five individual cases were broken during shipping (the little thing that holds the disc in place). The cases also feel very flimsy (like they can't handle having too much pressure on them).

I don't know if I'd recommend shelling out the extra money to buy it from overseas. But I do wish to see sales be good that maybe Fox will release a better version in the future.

The thread was started a while ago so scroll down about midway and look for a post from user FRUMIOUSB, it's a good place to start. FRUMIOUSB seemed to have been connected to the show or at least had some close relations with someone who did because they are able to describe what could have been a great dvd (what got left out), a dvd that instead got the shortshrift from you know who. There are some good arguments for both buying and not buying - I wanted to see the show so I bought a copy.
