I went to the premiere last at Universal and it was so cool. My friend met Shawn and Morena and they signed a few autographs while I was busy snapping pictures. Nathan was great with the crowd even though he didn't make it down to our side. Jewel looked so beautiful last night in her dress. Gina Torres was not there but Amy Acker from Angel came over and signed she was really nice. And of course Ron Glass always the gentlemen and so appreciative. The premieres at Universal are far better than the ones at Grahmans in Hollywood because you are much closer to the red carpet and not standing across the street with cars passing by. In all a very good night. Oh we got the poster that were hanging up but they got kind of torn with the two sided tape they used. There is actually Fan Fest going on tommorrow at Universal Studios inside the park. Not sure if i'm going yet. One final note, Jose Canseco was there at the premiere but what a freaky looking guy in person. He as this really strange tan, these emerald green contacts and his upper body is four times larger than his waist.

This thing was incredible! A friend said that this was a lot fancier than the other premieres that he's been to. Practically everything was on the house. Well, anyways, the Hollywood Premiere event was done at the theater complex at Universal City Walk in Hollywood. There were special tables for browncoats to pick up their special "Serenity" buttons so that they can watch the celebs arrivals on the red carpet. There were actually 2 red carpets, one roped off for the celebs and the reporters to gawk and interrogate, and the other for everyone else. It might sound like the segregation days or something, but the two carpets were practically right next to each other and just walking up it had people wondering who the heck you are.

Anyways, got in and I don't know if we were waiting for someone or if they had projector trouble, but they actually started the film 'bout half an hour late... My seats sort of sucked, so I actually hopped over when the house lights came down and about half hour into the film, I noticed that I was actually within spitting distance of Adam and Morena. Hey! Did I tell you about the free popcorn and drinks, how's that for ya? A bit more gawking revealed that Alan, Summer, Joss, all pretty close by and Ron was actually across the aisle - sweet! Only one I didn't see was Nathan Fillion... Saw him on the red carpet, where the heck is he?

The after-party was something else too. They opened up the entire area and the Globe Theatre was all dolled up and turned it into a huge dance floor with the dining area all around it. There was a huge ball hanging from the ceiling with a big Serenity logo behind it - all lit up and swirling red and orange. Wish there was a picture of it, but they had already confiscated the cameras much earlier on. What else, there were the expected Asian/Chinese decor all over, a huge ass buddah and all kinds of Chinese furniture. It was all open bar and the food just kept coming. All of the stars were there - except for Gina looked like she had to make a quick exit and so did Adam.
