I get the feeling Serenity will do better the 2nd weekend.

1. Cause of all the browncoats going to go see it again for the 100th time.

2. Cause a lot of people who want to see it just haven't got to see it yet due to being too busy (like nearly every one I know that hasn't seen it yet).

3. Word of mouth. The word of how good the movie is should really help increase ticket sales this weekend.

Really I don't see how Flightplan got $15M. That surprises the hell outta me. That movie doesn't even look that great imo. Serenity should definately be #1 this weekend I think. Corps Bride will probably be low down on the list some cuz every one I know that has seen it says it sucks! 40 Year Old Virgin I think is only down on the list cuz it has been out for over a month hasn't it? Like a couple months? Atleast it's still in the top 10 where it should be. Best comedy movie of the year I swear!

Anyways I really think Serenity will be #1 this weekend. First week I expected it to be atleast #2 wich it is. I'll be surprised if it isnt #1 and shocked as hell if it's lower than #2. Then again can't forget about t he new movies coming out this weekend wich I haven't a clue wich movies are coming out Friday...

i think we'll have no problem making a profit, and therefore getting a green light on our sequal...i mean think about it...we havnt even counted in DVD sales! All browncoats will buy 1...or 2....or 8. ANd then buy even more as gifts! Just like firefly dvds....we so got this

Ofcourse we got this! What I really want is another season of Firefly on Scifi (obviousely best place for the show. Atleast imo) and then after the 2nd season a 2nd movie. And then continue with that trend. Having the movie being like the season finale.
